More Cosmos and a Giveaway

THANK YOU for all the enthusiasm over my new line.  Here it is in full--Cosmos Collection--named for the sweet, simple cosmos flower.  Even though there are a few different colorways, the whole collection works together.  I have so many ideas for projects!! 

Tomorrow is my birthday which will involve a lot of shopping--starting with breakfast and child care at IKEA.  Grant has given me the best birthday present ever--he finally conquered potty training.  So I can drop BOTH the boys at the play place.  Lily is too tall and too fun to shop with to leave there. 

For my birthday I want to do a giveaway--fabric from my new line.  Since I love dumb jokes and it is my birthday, please leave a joke for your comment and my favorite joke will win.

Introducing...Cosmos Collection

I am so excited to show you my latest fabric line--Cosmos Collection. Lily and I had so much fun on this little photo shoot--granted it was 98 degrees outside. Yikes! But she was a good sport. I think it helped that she was getting a new outfit out of the deal. 

Cindy Luby of Del Ray Fabrics made the dress. I don't know how I stumble into such generous and talented friends, but I do!  Pam Matthews (also Del Ray) and Katie Blakesley (DCMQG) have also been helping me get this line up and running. Every time we get together they get my creative juices going until I can't sleep that night.  Totally worth it.

Dave is Definitely Taking Me Out Tonight!!

4 hours of ironing. 34 articles of clothing. I'm the best wife ever! Notice my new fabric poking through.

I pretty much already made today a holiday. The kids are amazed because I made a layered red, white, and blue jello. I never do stuff like that so they keep opening the fridge and checking on it. Anything else I do is just extra. ;)

AND since it was a cool 93 out. We did visit the park. I think I should have stopped with the Jello.

¡Ay, caramba!

We grabbed some Mexican food after a swim. It was taking a while for our order to come. But who cares when they leave a delicious glass of salsa on the table. Mmmm. It's like having a V-8. This is what happens when I look away for one minute.
