We went to Ocean City on Saturday. The kids were in heaven. I gotta say, those east coast beaches are so much better for kids. It was nice and shallow with small waves. Not too cold. Grant was an animal in those waves.
Needless to say, the kids crashed on the drive home. A few days later we made our way to Alabama, and here we are! We had serious southern food at Irondale Cafe today--fried green tomatoes, greens, butter beans, fried chicken, and buttermilk pie. WOW! I think we may need to go back before I leave town.
