Luke was much quieter than usual at church today. We didn't have to take him out once. I looked over and he and Lily were busily passing crayons back and forth.
Luke had an idea for a "scary book." He would dictate to Lily and she would write it down. I think they make a great team and have a promising career ahead of them.
Probably not in children's books though, because as Luke says, it's a really scary book. This part about the slime monster is, according to Luke, the scariest part. I hope I can sleep tonight.
Grant was quieter than usual at church too. Although he did yell out, "Help! Help! Ayudame!" for no apparent reason. (Thank you Dora the Explorer.) He was only taken out once at the end. Progress? We'll see.

This is like that game my brother and I used to play in church where someone would draw a picture and the next person would right a line about that picture, and then the next person would draw a picture of the line the previous person wrote, I guess it takes 3 people but you fold it down so they can't see the precious person's drawing...anyhow, catch my drift? It can be funny.

I personally find the slime monster terrifying!
I am however really impressed with the drawings and writing, I wish my little Madam could manage to write neatly, she is 9 and has doctors scrawl!

Sarah--I still write like a fourth grade boy myself. Seriously, I don't know many people with handwriting as bad as mine. But Lily is 11 so there may still be hope for your nine year old.
Alice--We played games like that at church too. There was no giant bag filled with activities and snacks. Just the church program and a pencil--if we were lucky.
