It's official!! Introducing my newest line Magnolia Lane--Spring flowers with accompanying "solids." I'm really excited about these solids. They aren't actually solids at all. I hand painted each color with little flecks of lighter tones coming through. This makes them really warm and rich. I loved using them for the magnolia applique on that pillow. Kathy Miller loved the solids so much that we are going to have a bunch more colors by Spring Market. I am literally laying awake at night thinking of all the things I'd like to make out of them.
I'm thrilled with how the magnolia print on the bedspread turned out. It really looks just like my painting. It's still a surreal and lovely experience to see my artwork printed on textiles. I don't think I'll ever get over that.
So check out the rest of the collection on the Michael Miller Website. I'm bribing friends at this very moment to whip up some more projects for me to show off. (Sew Shannon, SEW!). I'll keep you posted on that.

Awwww.... I can't wait to get my hands on some of that fabric. You are hands down my absolute favorite fabric designer.

Love them!
Would bribing friends (or strangers) include hooking them up with some kind of fabric discount? Because I think these prints would make amazing Easter dresses. I'm just saying...I've got four girls...lots of project options. :)
