Fresh Squeezed Yellows?

Yellowsign_5

Is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture?   Dave and I saw one of these cruisin' down the highway and we had to laugh.  It's actually more orange than these oranges.  Do you think that an entire committee of color blind people designed these.  Or maybe it's an ingenious marketing technique.  Maybe I'm just another sucker giving them free press.

Ahhh... that's more like it.  My "almost 16" year old niece is spending a few days with me.  She talked me into getting these funky yellow sneakers.   They're like sunshine on my feet.

I am having too much fun with my niece.  Today we'll be doing some digging through antique stores. I'm so spoiled.  Last week I did some shopping with Heather, the queen digger.  What's that expression about all play and no work?

I wouldn't say this is an explanation, but just a little interesting. Just happened to be reading it last night! What a coincidence (:

Wow, Alyssa. What a funny coincidence. I wonder why they didn't just name their company Orange.

They do know they've got the wrong color. A friend of mine, who's father worked for them, had a bright orange Tshirt that said YELLOW on it. Always made me laugh.

Funny, we spent the day looking for yellow cars to find the paint color we were looking for.

Hahahaha, I know, I know! I totally laugh everytime I see a "yellow" ORANGE truck! I used to tell my husband that they did it that way to save money......by the time their trucks need a new paint job, they will be the right shade of yellow......then they never have to paint the trucks again! LOL
I love your new "kicks"! Where did ya get 'em! (sorry for being so nosy)......
Have fun antiquing!
Wish I could join ya.
Take care,
Laurie

Hey Laurie, I got my shoes at Macey's. I love your theory about the orange trucks.

Amberlynn, I totally want one of those t-shirts

Hi there! Love your blog--anyway, funny that you bought yellow sneakers because just yesterday while bargain hunting I found the cutest pair of yellow polka dot flats. I almost left them at the store, but something about the combo of yellow and white polka dots just called to me! There must be something about "yellow" in the air. . .

I LOVE those shoes! Too cute!

Nice kicks.
